Don’t take it from us; take it from a project in Central New York that has had a Mateflex II tennis court tile system installed over a home tennis court for nearly 30 years. The current homeowners inherited the Mateflex tennis court system from the previous owner. As an avid tennis player that sought a more comfortable long lasting surface to play on, the decision was easy to invest in a Mateflex tennis court in the mid 1980’s. When the new owners purchased the home, several years went by of not using the court while focusing on other projects around the historic house. Eventually, the homeowners contacted Mateflex to see what could be done to get their court back into service. A Mateflex crew came in and cleaned up the court, addressed some base repairs, and repainted the game lines to bring their court back to almost new condition. After the nearly 30 years of grueling winters and hot summers that were experienced in Central New York, the court has endured and is ready to continue its long service life with some new homeowners that can finally enjoy their tennis court.
